Is software documentation intentionally poor?
Why make the effort when others will do a better job for free.
When checking out how to implement a particular feature or service in an application, the best explanations and examples are rarely found in the vendor’s on documentation. Sites like Stack Overflow, StackExchange, Quora, and Reddit, along with loads of developers’ blog posts usually provide far clearer explanations of how to add this, fix that, and so on.
These communities and community-minded people save vendors a lot of time and money, while allowing them to boast of “a large, active community”. Certainly, my thanks go to all those who share their knowledge for free, as I know I would have got stuck and stopped coding a long time ago.Download Pics n Mix from Google Play
